My parents got their fist shot of the vaccine! A big sigh of relief.

Great for you and your family. The sooner we get vaccinated the lower the thrat of new COVID strains will be. I'm trying to sign up my parents this week as well. It's hard, we might have to travel to the other side of the country but finally 60+ is available for sign ups. So far it was only medics, public servants, 70+ and teachers.

That’s so great.

My mom was supposed to get it a ~few weeks ago, but an antibody test showed she had had Covid at some point within the last few months, and it’s too soon for her. Which sucks. She’s doing another antibody test that will show more accurate readings tomorrow. She still feels the remnants of the disease - physical activity leaves her feeling as if a heavy rock was put on her chest.
