Any notion that this guy really fought for his domestic policy agenda is a blatant lie. Progressives fought harder for it than he did and we know damn well who opposed it: Republicans and corporate and centrist Democrats who want to be buddies of corporate CEOs and lobbyists. He's doing better in terms of foreign policy currently but other than that there's no chance of anything passing legislatively in the next couple of years of his presidency. Shame because sadly the far-right is not getting weaker in the US and blaming progressives for the corporate Dems' policy failures will not work forever. All these guys had to do is to get rid of the filibuster but the corporate donors said 'no' and that was it I guess.

CNBC - U.S. imposes new sanctions on pro-Putin Russian oligarchs and their families over Ukraine invasion

Corporate power keeps U.S. wages 20% lower than they should be-White House

The Washington Post - U.S. to ban oil imports from Russia as White House explores drastic plans to buffer economy from energy shock

Russian oil was already being cut off by big companies already anyway - even Shell most recently had already thrown in the towel.

Shell won't buy any more Russian oil and gas - CNN

Countries such as Japan were/are considering doing the same, but Europe is heavily reliant on Russia which makes it more difficult for them than the United States.

The next thing we need is a strategy to replace Russian energy - not just in the United States but globally.

Gonna need new ways to drive down demand (COVID19 travel restrictions much drove down the price of oil in 2020) and increase supply in order for prices to stabilize and decline in the future. Build new nuclear plants as well as much, much larger tax credits for electric vehicles by all the major governments in the world.

The Washington Post - Biden is approving more oil and gas drilling permits on public lands than Trump, analysis finds

Despite GQP lies and much to the consternation of our environment, in fact.

Vox - America can’t solve its gas price problem (or its Russia problem) with drilling
The four myths Republicans have been spreading about oil and gas prices, explained.

Myth No. 1: Biden killed oil production
Myth No. 2: The oil and gas industry can quickly ramp up production to make a dent in prices
Myth No. 3: LNG exports will fix Europe’s problems and help US gas prices
Myth No. 4: We can ignore climate concerns because boosting gas will counter dependence on Russia

The Washington Post - White House reaches out to Venezuela, a longtime foe, amid Russia crisis

Venezuela has long been a bitter enemy of the United States. But amid the Ukraine crises and soaring gas prices, tensions may be relaxing.

Putin is just feeding the false conspiracy theorists again. Nobody's doing business with his oppressive shambolic regime anyway or wants to vacation there. That's always been Russia's problem, people leave, attend schools, or vacation elsewhere - including their rich oligarchs and their families - the masses outside of Russia don't actually want to vacation and live and work in Russia with few exceptions.

Meanwhile I'd wear the sanction/ban like an unintentional badge of honor and hold it up over my political rivals who were not - like Donald Trump unsurprisingly so.

Jen Psaki Has Now Held More Press Briefing Than All Of Trump’s Press Secretaries Combined

CNBC - Biden says Putin ‘cannot remain in power’ in sweeping speech on Russian invasion of Ukraine
  • * President Joe Biden said Russian leader Vladimir Putin “cannot remain in power” over his invasion of Ukraine.
  • * In a sweeping speech in Poland that marked the finale of a three-day trip to Europe, Biden urged democracies around the world to unify and commit to a long fight against authoritarian aggression.

Biden calls Putin 'a butcher' after meeting with refugees in Poland - CNNPolitics

While a White House official claimed the President was only speaking about Russia's power over its neighbors (lol yeah ok) and not doing anything to directly facilitate regime change in Russia, it's clear Biden wanted this out there. He never liked Putin, even from the beginning of Putin's reign. (And neither did I, I didn't trust Bush nor Putin.)

Putin isn't getting any younger, who knows how long he lasts regardless of any Russian internal strife. But the bigger and longer term conflict is with Putinism - which Russia is infected with from the top down. Just because Putin dies or is removed doesn't mean his beliefs and methods go away - not just in Russia but in the entire world where this conservatism resides, including in the United States itself.
