People keep saying that this was a narrow victory.
Dude, the fella ran against an incumbent president and will win by 5-7 million more votes. Electoral college is a bunch of misleading crap but Biden is going to win that too with a considerable margin.
Won two Red states that hadn't vote democrat for a long time. Came close in a few others. It was an impressive victory by any standard.
In the middle of a pandemic, more than 70 million people voted for a guy who is responsible for it.
I don't know about you but I'd call it narrow victory.
The country is going to be ruled by Biden and McConnell. Both will compromise in order to move things. That's better than Trump, if only for the symbol it would have been to elect twice a racist/liar/misogynist...
But even if he had intentions of going more left than Obama (of which I have no idea), Biden will not be able to.
I guess he can:
-bring back medicare
-join back Paris agreement
-bring some leadership to the fight against Covid.
So a lot of improvements already.
