Former U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday asked a U.S. appeals court to revive his lawsuit against Twitter Inc challenging his permanent suspension from the platform after his supporters attacked the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
Lawyers for Trump, a Republican, told the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in a filing that the ban from Twitter marked "overtly partisan censorship" and was "contrary to First Amendment principles deeply rooted in American history and law."
His lawsuit seeks compensatory and punitive damages and a court order requiring Twitter to "immediately reinstate" his account that was permanently suspended on Jan. 8, 2021.

Didn't democrats say Trump stole the 2016 election when he ran against the worst candidate of my lifetime Hillary Clinton? Our current President and Vice President referred to Trump as an illegitimate President. They did the same thing to President Bush for beating Gore and Kerry, and VP Gore ran to the left of Clinton. They never want to talk about that, do they? Didn't some Bernie Sanders voter start shooting at the capital police and republicans? Joe Biden had a disturbing record on civil rights when he was a senator. How many African American lives did Biden send up the river? And the way he described them on the Senate floor had me lost for words. How many African Americans did Harris ruin while she was Attorney General sending away? People for smoking Marijuana while she smoked pot on the job and laughed about it in an interview. How was Larry Elder treated in 2021 by the California media? He went through racism from the left, and what is with the liberals wearing Che Guevara shirts? He did not like black people and was homophobic.

No offense to you, but Ron DeSantis is the front-runner not sure if you saw the recent polls in PA, Georgia, and Florida and the head-to-head hypotheticals Governor DeSantis wins the race against Biden and Trump in the primaries and general. We don't dislike Trump but are tired of him airing his grievous because that isn't helping reduce inflation and gas prices. A fresh face would do wonders from the top of the ticket down the ballot.
A Manhattan jury has found two Trump Organization companies guilty on multiple charges of criminal tax fraud and falsifying business records connected to a 15-year scheme to defraud tax authorities by failing to report and pay taxes on compensation for top executives.
The Trump Corp. and Trump Payroll Corp. were found guilty on all charges they faced.
Donald Trump and his family have not been charged in this case.
