And Don Jr is threatening the judge’s daughter,

Felony counts. Not misdemeanors. 34 of them.

Upholding the rule of law and holding powerful people to account should be something you should celebrate. Trump's a fascist, a conman and a crook and it was about time he got a taste of the consequences that await lawbreakers.

The Dems won the 2020 election and then Trump tried a coup on January 6th like a tinpot dictator wannabe. He should have gone to jail for that.
Trump lost Manhattan by eighty percent of the vote. The judge hates him. The jurors presumably have low opinions of MAGA voters. Imagine living in America and believing that putting our country first is wrong. Everyone looked at this case and dropped it. Bragg downgraded fifty-two percent of actual crimes to misdemeanors. Alvin ran on locking up Trump before he had seen any alleged evidence of crimes Trump got investigated for decades. He was never found guilty of crimes. Political prosecution is not supposed to transpire in America democrats are the lawless ones. Most of the crimes occur in democratic-controlled areas. You liberals have got to get a new topic. All you do is bring up January 6th. It is not that you care. You all do this to attempt to shut down the debate that the world is on fire with senile Biden in office who stole the 2020 election. Joe Biden bragged about having “the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization” in history.
Oh please, stop lying about the 2020 election. Trump went to court 60+ times and lost because he had no evidence of voter fraud. Some of the judges who ruled against him had even been appointed by him LOL.

It's a Manhattan grand jury that voted to indict your orange buffoon. Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, went to jail for the Stormy Daniels hush money payments by the way.

The DOJ is also looking at election subversion by Trump and incitement of January 6th. There is also a criminal investigation of Trump’s retention of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago (federal prosecutors are looking at whether he willfully retained national security information and obstructed justice).

He is also under investigation in Georgia for alleged attempted election interference.

He doesn't sound like someone who puts his country first. He seems more like a stupid con man whose past actions seem to be catching up to him.
Why are you feeding this troll/Russian bot? Just ignore this nonsense and it'll go away.

CNN - Federal appeals court denies Trump’s emergency bid to stop ex-aides from testifying in Jan. 6 probe
Former President Donald Trump’s legal team has lost a bid for emergency help from the federal appeals court in Washington, DC, to block some of his closest advisers from testifying about him to a grand jury, including former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, according to a new court filing.

Trump’s team on Monday night asked for the appeals court to wipe away a lower court’s ruling that would force several of his top advisers to answer questions to a grand jury investigating Trump and his allies’ attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election, despite his claims of legal protections around his presidency that would shield some of their testimony.

The appeals court denied his request on Tuesday, dealing Trump another legal setback just before he is set to enter a courtroom in Manhattan to face criminal charges in a separate investigation.

The swift decision means advisers to Trump, including Meadows, could be brought into the federal grand jury in Washington by prosecutors in the coming days. Trump would need a court to intervene in his favor in order to block their subpoenas.

By early Tuesday afternoon, prosecutors from the special counsel’s office who are focused on January 6-related cases already had brought former Homeland Security acting secretary Ken Cuccinelli back to the grand jury. Cuccinelli previously testified to the grand jury in Washington in January.

Overnight, a panel of three judges on the appeals court – Patricia Millett, Robert Wilkins and Greg Katsas – had sought a response from the Justice Department regarding Trump’s request. The Justice Department responded about two hours later.

An appeal on the larger legal questions around executive privilege assertions could still live on before the appeals court, but the activity around Trump’s emergency request for a stay would determine now if witnesses must comply with Justice Department subpoenas and the lower court’s decision against Trump.

Trump’s team is unlikely to ask the Supreme Court for help, one source told CNN. A spokesperson for Trump did not respond to a request for comment.
Other witnesses who may be affected by the ruling include Trump’s former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, former national security adviser Robert O’Brien and several Trump White House advisers such as Stephen Miller and Dan Scavino. CNN has confirmed some of the witnesses previously testified to the grand jury, but may have declined to answer some questions at Trump’s direction.
Stop running and spill it under oath, cowards.

NY Daily News - The indictment of Donald Trump gives Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg several ways to win a felony conviction
A charge of falsifying business records is on its own a misdemeanor under New York law, punishable by up to a year behind bars. But the law raises it up to a felony called first-degree falsifying business records if “the intent to defraud includes an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof.”

Trump is charged with 34 counts of first-degree falsifying business records, a class E felony that can carry a sentence of 1 1/3 to four years in prison.

In the indictment, the underlying crime could involve state and federal election laws — or it could involve the illegal romp through New York tax laws Trump orchestrated to pay Daniels $130,000 through his then-fixer, Michael Cohen.

Joe Biden revealed he had the most inclusive voter fraud on television. He is illegitimate and has slipped up his whole career. Joe Biden has cognitive decline, and you believe he won fair? LOL, come on, man Bragg wishes to charge Trump with people failing to mention there is no crime. The indictment does not specify a crime. There is also no victim. What? Alvin wants to lock up Trump for one hundred and thirty-six years for being Donald J Trump. It's Un-American it's backfiring. Trump went up ten points and led Biden after every witch hunt. Do they prosecute a man with his stature over nothing? Imagine what they can do to us, regular people.

I'll let everybody in on a little secret. The reason Biden won in 2020 (51JB-47DT-2others) but not Clinton in 2016 (48HC-46DT-6others) despite her popular vote lead is that a large share of 2016 third party voters, new voters, and some 2016 Trump voters put him over the top in the electoral college. Some of them may have had a problem with a woman at the top of the ticket, as much as the idea of the impact of sexism annoys me. The Democratic candidate has led the vote count in 7 out of the last 8 presidential elections. Modern historical trends are to their benefit.*

It had little to nothing to do with anything else, real or especially imagined. Republicans were elected on the same exact ballot as Biden in 2020 yet none of them challenged their own elections, because they are full of shit or know it's nonsense.

Are you not going to acknowledge that Biden openly said he had the most inclusive voter fraud in history? It took forever for the election to get called. We reap what we sow, Joe referred to Trump as illegitimate, and I believe that most of the country chants USA! When Trump enters locations. Biden hears, let's go, Brandon! But I don't know if he's mindful we're referring to him. His 2020 campaign was comedic gold everyone slept on it. Do you know what Jay Leno could have done with him talking about corn pop and kids rubbing Joe Biden's leg and the lady's priceless expression behind him like WTF? This guy needs a nursing home, but he's no longer hosting the tonight show. Republicans had a higher turnout if Biden won eighty-one million votes. How come he couldn't win Florida, Ohio, Iowa, Tennessee, Texas, North, and South Carolina? Joe should have won more states for that number to make sense you think he's more popular than Obama?

Southern Poverty Law Center - MALE SUPREMACY IS AT THE CORE OF THE HARD RIGHT’S AGENDA
Hard-right movements are based on exclusion and the construction of hierarchies.
Christianity, many members of the American hard right contend, should hold a preeminent place in our society and even form the basis for our laws. White people, they (often implicitly) suggest, deserve to hold a dominant position in society because of their supposed innate superiority.

The hard right, in other words, wants to revive an older social order, before the Civil Rights Movement, women’s and gay liberation movements, and other social and political transformations upset what was a thoroughly white-dominated, patriarchal society. Gender, then – how it is understood, practiced and described in our laws – is clearly of central concern to the hard right. Their goal is to uphold male supremacy, a movement that scholar of right-wing movements Chelsea Ebin describes as “a complex system that serves to assert, support, and promote the supposed superiority of men,” and subjugate women, trans, nonbinary and gender-nonconforming people.

But in most scholarship and media focused on the hard right, the movement’s gender politics are taken for granted or given secondary importance. Writing and commentary on the Jan. 6 insurrection, for instance, has lifted up the role of white supremacy in the attack, but usually fails to explore the fact that the insurrectionists were not only overwhelmingly white but also overwhelmingly men (with some notable exceptions).

White supremacy is central to the hard right, but so is a desire to maintain a patriarchal society where people adhere to strictly defined gender roles and men act from a position of dominance.
