I'm certain it's not the first (especially because I know it was the second movie we went to go see on this particular day), but it's the earliest I remember: The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

Edit: Looks like the re-release of Star Wars was in January of 1997, which was a few months before I saw The Lost World.
