I saw this btw but never wrote a review for it.

It's pretty amazing but a little typical. I kinda get QT's comments. I don't think anybody will remember this in a while. Beautifully done with wonderful performances, you'll cry but you won't have your mind blown the way mine was by Blue is the Warmest Color (which is admittedly a superficial comparison, Carol's insane strict formalism is a lot closer to In the Mood for Love).

B+ / A- range for me
