Well... I don't even know how to take that quote. I don't consider myself a "film enthusiast". I consider myself a cinephile that just loves getting as much knowledge as possible on the subject of cinema.

I'm not sure what qualities a "film enthusiast" needs to have in order to know if I'm close to being one.

Never been a fan of Lars, I always found his work to be ‘showy’ for the sake of being ‘showy’. I never felt that any of it was coming from an honest place. But I did enjoy Melancholia, mainly because I didn’t really feel his presence in that film - so I hope this ends up being more like that.
