When I saw you replied to this thread I hoped for something really funny but you disappointed me because what you said made no sense. :( Level up steve.

No Nolan because they're all great. But that I recall at the moment:

The Godfather - Kay watches Michael being honored as the Godfather in the next room while the door slowly closes.
Dangerous Liasons - Glenn Close bitterly removing her make up. Very slow fade out.
The Talented Mr. Ripley - The closet mirror door slowly shuting showing Ripley thinking about his last murder.
The Usual Suspects - The whole montage revealing the mystery. "and just like that... he was gone!"
Reversal of Fortune - Klaus Von Bullow (Jeremy Irons) is in a drugstore. The clerk (a shy woman) sees the headline in the newspaper, recognizes him and shivers. Klaus notices all. She then asks: "anything else, sir?" and Klaus "Yes please, a vial of insuline." The clerk looks at him frightened. Klaus smiles and says "Just kidding". And leaves. Fade out. Great score by Mark Isham.
E.T. - Extremely crying worthy.

much more...

Yeah. Just + Kurosawa's stuff (Samurai Seven, Roshomon, and High and Low especially) and I'd add The Lives of Others too, wonderful ending.
