I want to dedicate this thread to point out specific esoteric meanings and elusive analogies made within popular movies.
Your theories can be farfetched.. or right on the money.. just feel free to share..

for example:

in the movie Gladiator, the first Gladiator fight held in Rome (battle of Carthage), could be an analogy to 2 galaxies colliding.
The opponent has an advantage in speed, however Maximus unites his fellow Gladiators to form a strong core, causing the chariots to start orbiting them (in a dispersive manner). Eventually mass wins over speed and the gladiators LITERALLY change the stars by changing the expected outcome of the battle. Maximus comes out of the battle as a uniting factor.. a shining star.

Interesting... but in my humble opinion you could find esoteric themes in almost any movie if you really want to. All you need to do is interpret the film's main course in a esoteric language.
