Period films or films based on true story(Gangs of NY) and films about physically/mentally handicapped (Winter's Bone) mostly but I don't always avoid these kind of films.
Hotel Rwanda, Forrest Gump, All the President's men, Schindler's List, Big Fish are counted as oscar baits but are still my favourite films

ScorNiro films are better than the ScorAprio films. That's probably controversial on NF.

Slumdog Millionaire was a horrible movie, quite possibly the worst best picture Oscar winner ever.

I thought so at first, but its kind of enjoyable now.
