I watched over the last week Krzysztof Kieślowski's Three Colours Trilogy and I'm not saying they were rubbish far from it but masterpieces I'm sorry but I just don't see it. Some nice visual flourishes and the acting is great but they just didn't engage me or my Wife.

White was the weakest just didn't ring true the whole faking his death element and framing his ex was full of holes, Red was my favourite but still not blown away, rather pretentious, I'm sure some of you got more out of this than me due to the high regard for these films but I really expected more considering their reputation.

I've got nothing against French Cinema but Delicatessen, City of The Lost Children, Amelie, Mesrine Parts 1 & 2, La Haine & A Prophet in my eyes much better films.

Before The Dark Knight Rises, Insomnia was Nolan's best movie. I still give Insomnia the edge because of how many times I've watched it, but it's close.
