You can't possibly compare the two movies, they are 180 degrees different. Both excellent at what they were though.

Pixar films are very overrated.

But... could you name a few overrated ones? and if there's any you consider good, or at least OK?
I really like the first 2 Toy Stories and WALL-E. Those aren't overrated IMO. I'm on the fence about Finding Nemo. The rest I feel are extremely overrated.dadosaboya wrote:ComptonTerry wrote:Pixar films are very overrated.

The one Pixar film I haven't seen besides Cars 2 and Brave, so I guess I cannot say anything about Up.Mr. Caine wrote:Up?ComptonTerry wrote:

Here is what I would say about Pixar films.
Worthy of their Praise:
Toy Story 1&2 and WALL-E
Slightly overrated but still good
Finding Nemo
Very fucking overrated
The rest.
Ones I haven't seen:
Up and everything post Toy Story 3 because I gave up on Pixar.

The movie Fight Club
1. is extremely underrated.
2. is extremely underrated.
3. is not exclusive to the male audience...
4. is misunderstood by the majority (this
audience tends to have a biased polarity favoring
Pitt and his character over Norton and his character's journey
5. is by far the top cult movie of our time
(that happens to be a book adaptation).
6. and i am of the mind that Tyler Durden is Nolan's inspiration for his joker (and possibly Bane?)

Bloody hell, that is a controversial opinion. I was going to say something but then I remembered that I don't get angry at the opinions of others and that you perfectly fulfilled the purpose of the thread.
Do you... like pineapple?
