X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)
Yeah it's not essential at all. For a "Rogue" cut, Paquin has Maybe four lines and that scene isn't very good, kills the pacing and has no storytelling value.
Did not care much for the rest, the editing was annoying in some places, going back and forth between timelines (a clip has been posted with Magneto a couple of pages ago), it worked for the climax in the theatrical, but otherwise...

nobody actually went out and bought the rogue cut right?
Someone did, I know it.Law wrote:nobody actually went out and bought the rogue cut right?
I didn't though and I'm probably the biggest X-Men fanboy on here.
For full price? No.

I was holding out for it but now I don't even have vanilla DOFP, let alone extended. Why? That fucking cover.
Yea that cover is horrible.m4st4 wrote:I was holding out for it but now I don't even have vanilla DOFP, let alone extended. Why? That fucking cover.
From what I've seen, the extended material actually hurts the film more than aiding it as well. The best thing about the extended edition is that it actually comes WITH the theatrical cut, so there's that. You'll get the theatrical cut and the extras.

It's on the shelf, admit it.DoubleD wrote:Yea that cover is horrible.m4st4 wrote:I was holding out for it but now I don't even have vanilla DOFP, let alone extended. Why? That fucking cover.
You see. The thing is. It sits on the shelf sideways. So I don't ever see it.m4st4 wrote:It's on the shelf, admit it.DoubleD wrote:Yea that cover is horrible.m4st4 wrote:I was holding out for it but now I don't even have vanilla DOFP, let alone extended. Why? That fucking cover.
