I think that it's about time to see Benedict Cumberbatch receive his first Oscar nomination. One of the best actors of his generation!

Test screening in NYC tonight.

Consensus:

film is amazing and Cumby is a lock for a nom. Dance is standout of supporting cast. Best Picture contender confirmed.

The reviews appear to be really great. I don't care for Cumberbatch but I'm glad that the reviews (over at AW) singled out Keira and Goode among the supporting cast.

For some reason I'm not believing those reactions.

Me neither.

Dance is clearly the standout of the supporting cast from what I heard.

I think that's just wishful thinking.

Keira's role was zzzzzz in the original script but I dunno... Harvey's faith with the film (especially him name dropping Cumby and Keira) is making me think the rewrites did wonders. And I'm a Keira fan so I want to believe... And this is just after I said that I'm done believing screening reactions.
