I think they also said Cyborg will be removed too, so no recast

Maybe ya'll know more about this than me, but Fisher has remained pretty consistently passionate about this issue. I don't see why he would lie, especially since it would risk making him look bad and affect his reputation in Hollywood.

Seems like there's rot in DC.

I support Fischer and I'm appalled at what's been going on behind the scenes... but from my understanding, it looks like he basically created an ultimatum where either thy fire Hamada or he walks, since he refuses to do any future projects while Hamada's in charge. So, they basically chose to keep The President of WB instead of work with Fischer.

Right? So in essence, he basically fired himself. That what it seems like.

I agree, but it's also disingenuous to frame the whole thing as them "firing him," as if it was retaliation. From what I can tell, It wasn't. They were just responding to the ultimatum he provided them.

It's so sad that Keaton's return is happening in this garbage universe, and I have to suffer Miller and Affleck if I want to see him as Batman again.

And without Fischer now, this just got a whole lot less interesting.

vindicating WB supposes Fisher had a choice to make the ultimatum, but it seems he morally didn't
