I take it as a given that Villeneuve and Deakins will collaborate again on Dune and I also assume that Dune will be next-level technical wise. Who knows Deakins will win another Oscar just a couple of years from now lol

TDKR and 2049 spoiler:
Only just realized that they used the same plottwist as Nolan in TDKR. That the child of the flashback is not male but female. Not Bane in TDKR but the other villain Talia and not K in 2049 but the Replicant child Ana.

Well, TDKR didn't really have a twist regarding that specific detail if the viewers pay attention to what Bane says over the course of the film.
