I find it really strange that this is getting the critical acclaim it is when the original polarized critics in the way it did.

Jeez whats your problem? I was just commenting on the fact. This one seems to be more accessible or the current market has gotten used to films of the originals kind or both. Its just interesting to see and compare the times.
