I find it amusing how people continues to predict this over The Last Jedi.

What exactly makes The Last Jedi seem like Best Picture material? I could see Blade Runner 2049 having a Mad Max: Fury Road-esque accolade victory in all honesty.

While I don't think this will be nominated, there is no way Last Jedi is getting a best picture nom.

Any comparison to Fury Road is unsound. They have nothing in common other than being an R-rated sequel. I don't consider The Last Jedi to be Best Picture material but the blind confidence in this being an awards contender is more than optimistic. One a guaranteed success, the other a box office flop. I just find it a bit strange is all.

This post literally makes little to no sense.

Also why is this projected to flop? Thats crazy. I'm sad I couldnt see it opening weekend personally but I still figured itd be good.
