Ok, so from what I can tell the new guy is not a toy made in an assembly line but most likely a toy made by some kid with items that are not originally intended to be toys (plastic fork, etc.). So what does that tell us in terms of themes for this film?

I can remember the first Toy Story with such clarity yet the other two sort of blend into one-another.

That teaser was... interesting, to say the least.

Why they shot in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio, unlike the first three Toy Story films which were produced in 1.85:1. anyone knows why?

When I was a kid yeah. Kind of not prioritized animated films the last 10 years, but trying to catch up now though.
