About the close-ups, I don't see the problem, I like the style, others don't, just like some hate the way Hooper frames The King's Speech, or Les Miz.

Hooper's frames are constant. I love them but even those who hate them will agree that he has one style. I don't like it when there's mixed styles that end up being totally out of sync.

trailer doesn't get me hard but i'll still go see it.

I guess my Aronofsky fanboy is getting the best of me because I looooved that trailer.

Nah I kinda liked the trailers. Although I expected a bit more of cynical take on it than an outright epic film.

I'm still wondering why this movie was made, and how the people involved got talked into it.
