Yeah I defiantly think it is his best performance because DiCaprio is in the movie. :roll: :facepalm: God you're so dumb sometimes. I also think Tom Hank's best performance is Catch Me if You Can, Matt Damon's and Jack Nicholson's best is The Departed, Tom Hardy's best is Inception and Russell Crowe's best is Body of Lies.

Well, Saving Private Ryan and Apocalypse Now are the best in this genre, IMO, but if you've already seen those, try Stalingrad or Der Untergang (Downfall).

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions. It's a draw between The Thin Red Line and Saving Private Ryan. Two amazing films, so hard to choose!
Speaking of The Thin Red Line, are there any other movies that have Malick's same sort of surreal feel? The more obscure the better. :D
