HBO has just notified us that they will be airing a “graphic tease” promoting season three of Game of Thrones, tonight at around 8:56 PM ET, prior to Boardwalk Empire. The tease will be posted online shortly thereafter, at HBO.com, Making Game of Thrones, and the Game of Thrones Youtube channel. We will of course have it embedded here, as well, as soon as it is available.

Westeros.org seems to think their won't be any footage though. Probably similar to the graphic tease released at the end of season 2 with the ring of fire and some lady saying "The night is dark and full of terrors"

Yeah we probably won't get our first footage until the season finale of Boardwalk.

GQ has named Game of Thrones' season two episode “Blackwater” the best episode of television in 2012. They have a comprehensive interview with producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, writer George R. R. Martin and director Neil Marshall, where they delve into the process of making the episode.

Here's an interesting quote by Benioff:
There's another battle bigger than this one coming up, but not until the end of season four. So we're preparing our speeches for how we're gonna ask for more money.
