sorry for the clickbait but it's true!

i post about this spoadically but as forum engagement slowly wains I feel the need to make a thread about it:

don't click around the forum like a scrub use Active Topics.

This page shows you every thread on the forum organized by which one has most recently been posted in.

This is better than traditional NF navigation because:

1) Efficiency. The entire forum is compiled on a single page instead of a dozen sub-forums. You do less work.
2) Effectiveness. You can make/post in weird sub-forums because people will actually see the threads now.
3) Engagement. You'll never miss people's posts or any of the forum drama.

Replace your NF bookmark with this page and life will be better

@mods i know this is in the movies sub-forum, that's the point, that if this were in the announcements sub-forum no one would ever see it. if you move it you're sabotaging the livelyhood of the forum to appease your own power fantasy just fyi ok happy 2021

What posts? Most are dead ends since there's no discussion.

if you mean 'what posts on the sub-forums?': i'm saying this would incentivise their use.

if you mean 'what posts on the forums at all?': yea i dunno

Not nearly active enough, but I remember you mentioning this years ago, and I've been using it ever since.

Active Topics is a dirty whore, IMO.
