Michael Mann has been talking about making a prequel to Heat since a couple of years now. But it'd be pretty cool if he'd actually get around to it after Tokyo Vice lololol (he's 77 wtf!)DEADLINE: How’s your book imprint going, and when are we getting that prequel to Heat?
MANN: It’s a stack about 10 inches high on my desk right now. We’re on it, and I’m putting time into that and a screenplay I can’t tell you about. But I absolutely want to make a movie of the Heat prequel.

Who would it follow, a young Vincent or a young Neil? Both? Also, would Mann de-age like Irishman or cast younger actors? Is this even really gonna happen, Mann adds a new project he's developing every other month, and not to be crass but he's 77.
