An exploration of Australian bushranger Ned Kelly and his gang as they attempt to evade authorities during the 1870s.

Its unusual approach won't be for all viewers, but True History of the Kelly Gang takes a distinctively postmodern look at Australia's past.

I've had the option to watch this since January, but I haven't been motivated to throw it on. Let me know how it is.

I really liked the Heath Ledger one to be honest. Might give this one a go as well.

law has basically developped his own sub-genre

Just finished it, I really like the way Kurzel directs, and his brother always puts out an intense score. I had no idea who George MacKay was prior to 1917, (still haven't seen that), but god damn the dude is a great actor, with a great screen presence. One complaint is that I wanted more Charlie Hunnam.. he killed it (yeah yeah I know you hate him). Crowe was also incredibly good for the small role he had (yeah yeah I know you hate him). I liked most of the characters, partly because in reality you should really be hating them.

Anyway, 8/10 would recommend
