Let down by the film. I hadn't watched any trailers or knew anything of it other than Pattison was supposedly amazing in it. Other than his performance, it was kind of an annoying movie
I didn't care for the overused close up shots. I wanted more of the brother and not the annoying junkie, who I will admit had a good monologue describing his night of acid.
One of the best movies of 2017, imo. an updated take on neorealist film noir, filtered through the vibrating sights and sounds of modern urban life. divisive movie, though.
This movie is a gift and I keep showing it to people every chance I get.
One of the best movies from the past few years tbh. I saw the Uncut Gems trailer in front of Lighthouse and it just made me want to go back and watch this again
