I hope DUNE 2 happens, making Zendya the main POV is fascinating. Considering we have had a Dune movie already, a bunch of scifi channel mini series and a dumb documentary that is meaningless, I'm glad the narrative is being shaken up.
Denis Villeneuve is officially returning to Arrakis. The filmmaker’s dream of completing his two-part Dune series is becoming a reality, with Legendary and Warner Bros. on Tuesday announcing they are moving ahead with a sequel that will hit theaters in October of 2023.
It's good it's getting a sequel. It definitely needed one or part one would have been remembered as a failure for the ages without a proper conclusion and message.
