Michael still being alive, though, without it being stupid like the previous films??
The man was a sixty-year old plus dude who was shot, stabbed, hit by a car, and then burned in an inferno at the end.
It’s a Halloween movie, what explanation do you need?
Well, the movie went out of its way to seperate itself from the previous sequels and take a more realistic, grounded approach, so I'm wondering how they are gonna keep the tone going in a sequel.
How are they gonna have Michael's survival in the previous movie not come off contrived

Reason:spoilers!
They erased great films, H20 and Halloween 2, for these past two disappointing films say what they want about Rob Zombie, but at least he kept it engaging and fun! Disappointed with the last two films of the series ends sucks. I felt like I was watching Freddy's revenge with no Robert Englund humor, and whose idea was it to sideline Michael Myers? That was so stupid. I wanted to see him go out killing people all night. But instead, we had to sit through a bad film in every sense.
