renewed for season 3

“We are elated that Succession and its exploration of wealth, power and family has resonated so powerfully with audiences. We cannot wait to see how the complex characters that Jesse Armstrong has created continue to navigate this captivating, ruthless world of the uber-rich. In today’s world where the intersection of politics and media is increasingly prevalent, Succession presents an especially piercing look behind the curtain of this elite, influential, and cutthroat community.”

HBO has released the upcoming new episode early due to it being Labor Day weekend in the US. Also, have early access to Righteous Gemstones and Ballers new episodes.

My Friday night is set!

Just wanna bump this thread a little, because after another great episode last night, this show has been the best TV I've watched so far this year.

It's been phenomenal since the beginning but it's even moreso lately, absolutely ferocious.

Sean T. Collins (who is a tv critic whose reviews I enjoy reading now and then) had this to say about Succession a couple of weeks ago:
Succession is The West Wing for people who've tweeted about how much they hate The West Wing

His problem generally seems to be that the characters are just joke delivery machines and not real characters as such.
