They shuffled their 3rd and 4th quarter releases for this to get Oscar shine. I'm so dead right now. I even said one page back that this film should not be the one they push for Oscars.

Phenomenal trailer. The release date doesn't inspire much confidence in the film but the trailer did its job. I'm a sucker for a basketball movie and although this does seem to have a lot of the beats of Coach Carter (great underrated flick), it still adds a more dramatic hook to make it different.
