Wolverine trailer won't be better than MOS Trailer, and that is coming from someone who is looking forward to this a lot.Law wrote:Wait untl next wednesday, your mind will changeMSUspartans2211 wrote:These pictures are slowly starting to make this film my most anticipated this year. Man of Steel is still more intriguing to me.
The Wolverine (2013)
I really hope Mangold is aiming for a Japanese Noir with a Comic-Book Hero as the main character. He even posted on Twitter ten films which inspired The Wolverine:
1. Chungking Express (1994)
2. The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976)
3. The Samurai Trilogy (1954-56)
4. Floating Weeds (1959)
5. Black Narcissus (1947)
6. Happy Together (1997)
7. 13 Assassins (2010)
8. The French Connection (1971)
9. Chinatown (1974)
10. Shane (1953)
I hope this will actually mean something.

You won't even give The Wolverine trailer a chance?Durden wrote:Wolverine trailer won't be better than MOS Trailer, and that is coming from someone who is looking forward to this a lot.Law wrote: Wait untl next wednesday, your mind will change
I used to doubt this film when Aronosfky left but Mangold has totally convinced me that he has created a brilliant film. I can't wait to see this.BlairCo wrote:I really hope Mangold is aiming for a Japanese Noir with a Comic-Book Hero as the main character. I have a feeling it will be the best Xmen film so far.
I'm not completely sold... After all this is the same guy that directed "Knight and Day".
My bad should have said "I doubt". I am hopeful it will be great.IWatchFilmsNotMovies wrote:You won't even give The Wolverine trailer a chance?Durden wrote: Wolverine trailer won't be better than MOS Trailer, and that is coming from someone who is looking forward to this a lot.
MOS trailer is right up there with the best of all time IMO.
But its also the same guy he brilliantly redid 3:10 to Yuma...IWatchFilmsNotMovies wrote:I'm not completely sold... After all this is the same guy that directed "Knight and Day".
And Hugh Jackman...IWatchFilmsNotMovies wrote:I'm not completely sold... After all this is the same guy that directed "Knight and Day".
Brave New World
Mangold has had a few duds in his career, but films like Walk the Line and Girl, Interrupted proves to me he's more than capable of handling a Superhero film.
