Scorsese is a hell of a film maker. Looking forward to Hugo Cabret.

I find this topic very harsh and I will take its heading as a bold statement that I don't have the answer for.

All i can say is that... there should be a Sir Martin Scorsese Award for future filmmakers.

You know, I've always thought Goodfellas was a tad overatted.

I just want to say about "The King of Comedy" - for me that was a true hidden gem

The Departed although i do need to scorsese my movie viewings

Well, I haven't seen all of his films, I've seen Casino, Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Shutter Island, Aviator, The Departed, Taxi Driver... and I think from these my favorite is The Departed. It stands the closest to me

GoodFellas with The Departed at close 2nd. Taxi Driver is obviously a classic as well.

The Departed and Shutter Island are tied for number one with me.
