Yeah. I have noticed stunning visuals next to very obvious CGI in both Infinity War and Endgame
Kind of late to this but I found Endgame a bit of a letdown compared to Infinity War (which I should confess really exceeded my expectations). I mean I don't know what the consensus is on the two of them.
I disliked Infinity War. It was so boring and Crisprat was annoying.
I liked Endgame a whole lot better.

Ironically, Thanos was the most compelling part of Infinity War, so I applaud Marvel for pulling that off.
But otherwise I agree. Kinda hated Pratt in it.
IW is mostly set pieces after set pieces glued by couple of flashbacks and rare character moments that are immediately punctured by 'jokes'. Drax being invisible was the worst offender of this.
But I guess some people like that.
I know people who found Endgame to be boring. If anything, climactic battle in grey brown ruins was the most boring part of Endgame.

Same here. IW is just so much action, and way too much comedy. Anything serious involving Thanos was easily the best aspect of it though.
I think Endgame is easily the better film. Besides it's timeline shenanigans it serves the story well. Also the fewer Pratt is in it the better.
I am so glad people dislike Infinity War as much as I do. My friend came at me for rating it 2.5 on Letterboxd lol
