Seeing the film again for the millionth time, I now believe Rooney was robbed of that Oscar. I mean, Meryl was great, but...then again, she's always great.
Rooney was a lot more dedicated to her role than Meryl was to hers. My pick would have been Mara for Dragon Tattoo, or Chastain in Take Shelter.
