Carpenter's Halloween is the only one you need seeing.

Don't bother with Zombie's trash or eveything else that followed.
Also, worth noting, don’t ever listen to this elitist piece of work, after all he’s living in a country that is no more.🕷️

Yes only the first Halloween was good.

I did an Elm Street week some time ago, which was pretty fun. More so because it actually ended with a decent Elm Street film tbh. Not sure if I'll do the same for this though.

Elm Street is the second best horror series, imo. It's Scream, NOES and Halloween after that, for me. NOES has some great and highly underrated entries. Obviously, the first one is a classic, but number Dream Warriors and New Nightmare are great in their own right, Number 2 is a gay cult classic and number 4 isn't half bad.

Nolan stole from Dream Warriors lol

The Scream franchise sucks imo. The first one is a slasher classic, but all the sequels are just no good. They're fun, 2 and 3 at least, but that's it.

Will this be the generic 4/5 horror flick m4 seems to be bored of?

Man, I hope so. I loved Hereditary, but this ain't that type of experience and Blair, sometimes 4/5 is the best possible outcome. There's also a certain special sort of charm that goes along with classic slasher series, you ought to downgrade your expectations from the start to perhaps be awarded later on. This is a day one for me, but that day is ways away still (November 1st!).🕷

I don't think there's going to be any other horror this year to top Suspiria.
