This is an empty movie. There's nothing here. But it's watchable for what it's worth. How did Martel let it win at Venice, I mean she just made Zama.

How so does it get muddled in Philips ego, he's been talking some shit lately yeah but I don't think any of that has to do with what he's shot a year before and edited into the final thing lol

I feel like Phoenix was the redeeming quality of this film for me. Without his performance, there's really not much there.

He's basically in every single scene, it would be weird to take him out and expect there to be something left. Everything is told through him.

What I mean is if you take him out and replace him with some other actor. It might not have been as interesting.
