I wonder how far this movie will go to be dark. If it plays a bit to tame or safe, that's enough for me to not like the film

i mean, todd philips
and frankly, the idea of joker as travis bickle is sorta innately uninteresting to me. i hope come october ill love it, but i'm still pretty skeptical about it all. i don't know what that point of view can add in general.

I mean i see why some dont buy it tho, i feel like this will be a TOL/Revenant type of deal where people will either keep seeing it as banale or profound/effective, sometimes both
