Lol. Hideous poster. Give us the fucking trailer
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019)
Someone pointed out the photoshop on Brad Pitt's face and man...I cannot see past it. They either smoothed out the middle of his face or they put his face onto someone else's body (this has been done in promos and posters before. The actor can't be there on the day of shooting so they use a body double. Desperate Housewives famously did this for a promo).
The poster was a choice.. but who gives a damn give us that teaser trailer!
Full of counterexample recently (Blade Runner 2049, Dunkirk...).
I can understand that they want a poster with Pitt & DiCaprio front and center but c'mon... this is just pure trash. Makes me sad as a fellow designer who likes to create keyart
It's not a very good looking poster, and I don't hope for an amazing trailer: I actually can't recall a good Tarantino trailer for the past 10 years, which is around the time of Inglorious Basterds, but I clearly remember that the trailer for Basterds never got me hyped in any way, and some if not all of the trailers after that (Django, and Hateful Eight especially) were quite weirdly edited. And I think this is because it can be extermely difficult to edit a trailer for a Tarantino film, so I kind of learnt not to care for Tarantino trailers other than the shots themselves. So... I don't expect this trailer to be anything amazing. I just want to see them in character and that's it.
The photoshopping of Leo and Brad in that poster is so bad.
