I think they're going too much into the ridiculous with every installment. Fast Five had the perfect balance of cool stupid, sentimental and thrilling.

I really don't like that Johnson's character is a completely different character than what we've seen in his first appearance. I liked Hobbs as a Tommy Lee Jones on steroids, take no nonsense kind of guy.

Two can play that game. You either intentionally or not missing the point is why I always think you're being a douche.

It's not a problem of continuity but of the type of character he is portraying. I don' like this Hobbs not because he's different than as he was in Fast Five but rather I don't like this characterization in general. He was badass in Fast Five, I liked that Hobbs... now he's just kinda bland.
