I honestly really liked the teaser and I'm loving the cast.

Looked more funny than scary..? Tho it's just a trailer milking one scene, that they think will sell the movie. And it probably will.

This movie's already a meme.

Chastain and Lilis don't resemble each other as much as the other kids and their adult counterparts do lol

Amy Adams tho
Amy Adams would be perfect, but she deserves better. I actually think Chastain does too, but at least she brings more empathy to this movie.
What do you mean she deserves better? The first film was a huge hit. As for Chastain, she's a very talented actress so I'm sure her performance will be fine. Guess I just need to get over the fact we didn't got Adams. Lilis played the younger version of her character in Sharp Objects, which I thought was great casting.

Anyway, I'm not too big of a fan of the opening scene of the trailer because it's obvious even before the reveal lol

IT is a fun movie, but come on, Amy has done movies like Doubt, Nocturnal Animals, Vice, Arrival, The Master, American Hustle.

And Chastain has done Mollys Game, Miss Sloane, A Most Violent Year, Interstellar, Zero Dark Thirty, Tree of Life...

They both have strong filmographies and they're both very very well regarded in the industry. Either one would have been great in this particular role.

“Miss Sloane”... Lol

Anyway, Adams filmography overall and especially recently is much much better.

what's wrong with Miss Sloane? It was a good movie and I'll stan it until the end of time.

Anyway I like both.

I actually think Amy is a better actress. She was nominated six times and Chastain two. My point is, IT made a lot of money, but still, be in the sequel would be a little risky choice and Amy definitely has better scripts to choose and better directors to work with.

I can respect that. And Amy has been going HAM for some of her recent roles. I didn't like Vice but man she was great as Lynne Cheney. After watching her in Sharp Objects over the summer it was such a huge 180. She sold both those roles.

Yep, I love that woman. She's a very dedicated actress.
