I don't know if this was better than Interstellar, but it was damn sure in the same stratosphere. Chazelle's best movie by far. Nolan should hire Gosling for something ASAP.

Nolan did love La La Land. And maybe First Man. Did he ever say anything about Gosling as an actor? Might be a good teamup.

Didn't really care for this movie. Just seemed flat to me. Didn't really feel connected to any of the characters.

Gosling did a good job. I think it might have been more with the directing and script. Film felt like it had pacing and depth issues.
