As of right now, I think I'd put it third. That being said, I think there's a chance I might like it more after I let it marinate some more.

Definitely wouldn't put it above La La Land though.

if you count student movies as movies. i know it had a very limited theatrical run, but still.

He started it as a student but finished it post graduation and yeah. If it had a theatrical run or a festival run then it counts. Most student films wouldn't get a run on Filmstruck.

How is the script? The fact this isn't written by Chazelle is still my biggest hangup.
