He's a really good choice, wonder what camera's they'll be using for this.

Besides, if they start shooting in February/March I think more casting news is imminent.

I absolutely trust Denis on this, Greg Fraser is a great cinematographer and no doubt he will do an amazing job on this, and maybe he was Denis's choice since the beginning, who knows, it's great to see him testing a new esthetic approach. Can't wait to discover who will scoring this (I would love to see Clint Mansell or Jonny Greenwood).

Wished they went for Lily Rose-Depp. Funnily though, she and Chalamet are dating in real life now.

Anyway, a Latin actress would also be white tho so... Anyway, Rosabell Laurenti Sellers? Zoe Kravitz would be a great fit, too, but some 8 years older than the age they're looking for.

Exciting times any which way, can't wait until they've cast everybody. Still keep my fingers crossed for Bale as Duke Leto and Reilly for the Baron.

“This version [of ‘Dune’] will differ considerably from David Fincher’s,” Roth said. “It was difficult because I wasn’t familiar with the book, and reading the book [takes] forever. It’s daunting because it has 300 pages to a chapter, and it was a really hard adaptation. I had two or three experts on ‘Dune’ that would tell me what was intended. I would say it took me probably a year plus.”
