This is true. Digital projection equipment just isn’t that great color-wise, and motion with a film projector is superior due to the shutters. That said, film has a lot of problems. I think Dolby Cinema is superior, but a typical cinema DP is going to be inferior to a film projector in good shape (which 70 mm’s tend to be; 35 mm’s not so much).
