yooo I just thought

that since I'll see Tenet in 70mm, I hope I get to see the DUNC trailer on 70mm as well

but then I thought

that theater screened Joker on 70mm not that long ago

what if Dune will also get a 70mm release

I know it's weird because it was shot on digital but man

I can't even

I don't really see the appeal of shot on digital being projected.

Info about the limited edition:
“The deluxe clamshell featuring a bespoke design based on Bene Gesserit designs created for the film.”
“A remarkable new volume created just for this Limited Edition. Titled simply Dune, this book was overseen by the film’s Oscar-nominated director of photography Greig Fraser and features his candid personal photography from the shoot. This photography is juxtaposed with text written by Dune star Josh Brolin (Gurney Halleck) that perfectly evokes the experience of shooting the film and offers a uniquely personal perspective on the production.”
“A unique edition of The Art and Soul of Dune with an exclusive cloth cover featuring the Atreides and Harkonnen symbols.”
“An exclusive reproduction of the Fremkit instruction booklet prop created for the film. Featuring a fabric cover and 80 pages of previously unseen art, this is a truly unique item that is perfectly indicative of the level of detail that went into designing each aspect of the film.”
The Limited Edition also comes with a “signature card signed by key creatives behind both books: author and executive producer Tanya Lapointe, director Denis Villeneuve, stars Timothée Chalamet and Josh Brolin, and director of photography Greig Fraser.”

Digital films can still look really good on 70mm.
