I guess I could of phrased it better but I'm not implying, I'm saying DC knows exactly what they are doing.

"Only".
Never thought I'd say this, but if you're a talented director with a vision who wants to direct a blockbuster, they should go make a Marvel film and not a Star Wars one.
Feige is making really terrific choices right now... and let's not talk about Kennedy

I don't think that's a controversial opinion at all. Marvel is the most stable franchise there is and so far it seems superhero movies are willing to do more interesting and adventerous stuff (FOX mostly, but still)
But SW is just two movies in. And after those two movies they're miles way more successful than Marvel was two movies in. I think we should wait until after Ep IX comes out to fully see the potential of Star Wars. If they're willing to branch out, especially with their standalone films from the Skywalker saga material, they could have something special on their hands. But they need to stop with those Obi Wan and Boba Fett movies and explore vastly different timelines and genres.

Which is....? TWBB? PDL? Magnolia? The Master?Jedisunscreen wrote:Paul Thomas Anderson has only made one masterpiece.
This is why I've always advocated that Warner Bros., not Disney, should have acquired Lucasfilm.LelekPL wrote:I don't think that's a controversial opinion at all. WB's tendency to lean on the darker/grittier side of PG-13, the fact that it's more director-driven as opposed to producer-driven (DCEU aside) would have all made WB a better fit for Star Wars than Disney.
And of course, the big one being, if WB had Star Wars, there would be a sliver of chance that we would one day see an anthology Star Wars film from Mr. Nolan himself.

Speaking of which, look at this fucking idiot.
Will God forgive Mark Wahlberg for Boogie Nights?

Will God forgive Mark Wahlberg for Boogie Nights?
The actor has sought a pardon from upstairs for his role in the drama about the porn industry, but really he should be begging forgiveness for those two Transformers movies
