They seem to be glowing across the board as I expected and hoped. I've kept my excitement in check, but seeing these reactions gets me a excited to see this movie now.
Music/song itself is fantastic. However, I cannot get over how un-animated and emotionless the animals look like for the sake of looking "realistic."
But fuck it man, I got shivers none the less.
And playing a bit devil’s advocate here but I’d say whatever is lost in translation, something else was created here. Hyper-realism, yes, but also something you don’t get from the original, like Nala literaly licking Simba’s face to show affection. I don’t know, just too intrigued by the whole photorealism approach right now. I feel it will work most of the time if not throughout the whole movie. The story is just too strong and the actors can sing without autotune for a change.

Having a Simba that doesn't use a different actor for the singing parts is also pretty crazy to me.
