I want to see that film so bad
It is beautiful. Although those hoping for this to be a return to his earlier work and more narrative driven they will find themselves disappointed. The film does take its time and should be thirty minutes shorter. In the end it is easy to overlook because of the spell it casts over you.

Dabangg 3

I haven't seen the first 2 but this one was boring. It started off great and I loved the masala elements but man
That flashback scene did not need to be so long
Dimple Kapadia is also in this and she is a good comedic actress and her scenes are funny.

I continue to be intrigued by the project

Why did you put yourself through this?

My dad and sister wanted to go and we ate out afterwards at a really good restaurant. Had malai kofta, paneer tikka masala, and butter chicken with garlic naan and rice.

Aside from the film, it was a very nice evening.

Fair enough, fair enough. First one is actually a decent film, just about decent. Played on the strengths of Masala Bollywood film. But the consequence of it being a hit had a devastating impact on the industry for subsequent 10 years.

Bombshell

This kind of had the same problems as Vice. There wasn't really a clear tone and the whole film felt very scattered. And I wish it took a deeper dive into the Republican ideology too and how the women at Fox News reconcile it with their lives. No one deserves to be treated the way Roger Ailes treated them but there was one point in the film
where Theron's Megyn Kelly said that she doesn't have to protect anyone when Robbie's character asks her why she didn't say anything or warn other women. But it doesn't really go anywhere and it ultimately makes for a very shallow movie.
The acting in this movie is great though the scene
with Lithgow's Ailes and Robbie's character is haunting as fuck and I was on the edge of my seat. Absolutely brilliant performance from Robbie.
I wanted a lot more from this movie. They barely scratch the surface of the scandal and the Fox News environment. It could have been so much better.

I Love You Phillip Morris

Joanne the Scammer could never! This film was so entertaining and Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor were great. As a Texan, I loved the little digs at Texas too.
