I've actually been rewatching the HP movies all the way through and Order of The Phoenix surprisingly struck me as my favourite, the undercurrents of the corrupt state and media was really interesting, also the way it portrays the Hogwarts students as a kind of radical group (i haven't read the books). Yates also plays a little with staging, there's a great scene where Umbridge and McGonagall have a battle of wits using steps to tower over one another.

It's kinda funny that the most extensive Harry Potter book is the shortest film of the saga. Tbh, I think Yates did a whole lot of things right in Order of the Phoenix, it's just that the Giant storyline never really worked for me. It was too much in the book already but in my mind it at least looked good :lol:
